‘The Woman In The Window’ Is A Page-Turning Thriller With Plenty Of Twists

‘The Woman In The Window’ Is A Page-Turning Thriller With Plenty Of Twists

Not going to lie. I only decided to read this book after I saw Netflix was adapting it into a movie (which comes out next month!). I’m usually skeptical of thrillers with cheesy titles and those with female protagonists who are suffering with mental illness and alcoholism (I’m thinking specifically of “Girl on the Train”). However, I’m glad I gave this one a shot. There were a lot of big surprises and I found Anna to be a really interesting character, especially as an agoraphobic (someone with a fear of open spaces/leaving their home).

After reading the book, I’m excited to see how the Netflix adaptation does. They chose some amazing actors (Amy Adams! Julianne Moore! Gary Oldman!) and the trailer looks pretty accurate to the story. Can’t wait!

💥TL;DR: If you like thrillers, give this one a shot. There were so many twists and you will speed through trying to find out what happens next! 5/5
